Our Philosophy

At CASA ATLAS Montessori School, we believe every child is naturally curious and capable. Through a carefully prepared Montessori environment, children are encouraged to explore independently, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Our Philosophy

At CASA ATLAS Montessori School, we believe that children learn best through exploration, discovery, and meaningful experiences. Our approach is guided by the Montessori principles developed by Dr. Maria Montessori more than a century ago and continues to support children in becoming confident, independent, and lifelong learners.

Rather than relying on strict instruction, we encourage children to ask questions, think critically, and follow their natural curiosity. Through carefully prepared Montessori materials and purposeful activities, each child is given opportunities to develop concentration, responsibility, and confidence at their own pace.

We recognize that every child has unique talents, interests, and abilities. Our role as educators is to observe, guide, and provide an environment that supports individual growth while fostering respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.

Our History

Since 1993 we have evolved steadily while staying true to Montessori principles developed by Dr. Maria Montessori more than a century ago. Over three decades of continuous improvement have allowed us to refine our programs and support thousands of families through early childhood and primary education.

Learning Environment

Classrooms are intentionally designed to be warm, diverse, and collaborative. Students work at their own pace with hands-on materials that promote exploration and mastery. The environment supports social development, cooperative learning, and the freedom to experiment and create.

Teachers and Accreditation

All teachers at CASA ATLAS are Montessori-trained and certified. Our educators are dedicated to fostering independence and building confidence during crucial developmental stages. They guide rather than direct, observing each child and tailoring support to individual needs.

Outcomes and Community

Graduates leave CASA ATLAS with strong academic foundations, self-confidence, and the ability to think independently. Our alumni network and long-standing family relationships reflect a supportive community committed to each child’s growth. I am a big fan of the Montessori method. I am fascinated with the way children thrive when they have the freedom to choose their own work. The children feel at home and comfortable in class and work at their own level of understanding and development, so they never feel the pressure of working, but enjoy every task they complete. The Montessori materials are unique, captivating, and beautiful. All materials are designed to encourage the use of the child’s imagination.

Here at CASA ATLAS Montessori School, we promote the joy of learning. Children who experience the joy of learning develop self-confidence in themselves and their work. It is important for children to have lots of fun and an enjoyable experience at school, so they can come to understand that school is a place for fun while learning.

We understand each child is unique, and we respect each child as an individual with their own interests. In our classrooms children have the freedom to make their own choices, develop skills at their own pace, and learn to be more independent with the guidance of their teachers.

We welcome you to CASA ATLAS Montessori School; the wonderful world of Montessori!

Kumiko Saito (Deputy Principal)

Kumiko Saito (Deputy Principal / After School Program Coordinator) graduated from Nihon University College of Art, Department of Broadcasting, and is also a lyricist. She became independent after working with the Magazine House Group and a kids’ modeling agency. She has been part of our school since 2018.

Hello,

My name is Kumiko Saito. I manage and oversee the entire school. Thank you for your support.

I have worked in the music, publishing, and advertising industries. Additionally, I have nurtured children for 19 years at a kids’ talent and modeling agency. I am still involved in casting work and am also a lyricist for commercials and children’s programs.

Drawing from my career experience, I aim to engage with the children, particularly those attending here, who are the future creators. My objective is to assist them in nurturing their inherent potential in a free and open manner.
