Before You Apply
We accept applications only from individuals who are currently residing in Japan, regardless of nationality. If you are planning to relocate to Japan, please submit your application after your relocation has been completed.
All applicants must hold a valid residence status that allows employment in Japan.

English is used in our educational environment; however, language requirements may vary depending on the position. Please refer to each job description for details.
Teacher Qualifications
Our institution is a Montessori school. To be employed as a teacher, it is mandatory to hold a recognized Montessori teaching certification (AMI, AMS-MACTE, or JAM). Applicants without the required certification will be considered for assistant roles.
In addition to a Montessori teaching certification, we also welcome candidates who possess other relevant qualifications, such as a Japanese childcare provider license, kindergarten teacher certification, or credentials in early childhood education.

As the head of after-school program, I aim to create a lively environment where children can participate in fun and enriching activities, enabling them to express themselves openly and seek my support whenever necessary.
I aspire to create an atmosphere that not only fosters creativity and exploration but also supports their emotional and social development. In addition, I am committed to continually expanding my own knowledge and skills through various training sessions, ensuring that I provide the best possible care and education. Class Teacher
Job Description
We are currently seeking qualified Montessori teachers for our Infant Community (0–3) and Children’s House (3–6) programs. Applicants should hold an internationally recognized Montessori diploma, such as AMI, or a valid teaching or childcare qualification recognized in Japan.
Candidates are expected to reside within commuting distance of Tokyo. Applications from individuals planning to relocate may also be considered; however, overseas applicants are kindly asked to apply only after their relocation plans and travel schedule have been finalized.

CASA ATLAS Montessori School is located in Minato City, Tokyo, within walking distance of several stations, including Akabanebashi Station (Oedo Line), Shibakoen Station (Mita Line), and Azabu Juban Station (Namboku and Oedo Lines). Access by bus is also available.
Please note that the school does not provide designated parking or bicycle parking facilities. We encourage staff members to use public transportation when commuting to and from the school.
To work as a teacher, a valid Montessori teaching qualification in Japan (AMI, AMS-MACTE, or JAM) is required. While there is no specific examination, if you do not have a Montessori teaching qualification, you will start working at Bambini as an assistant.
However, if you possess practical qualifications or skills related to after-school program management, you may be assigned a class after an evaluation of your work performance. We also welcome applicants with Japanese childcare and education qualifications, such as a nursery teacher license or a kindergarten teaching license.

Interviews are generally conducted at CASA ATLAS Montessori School and include an opportunity to become familiar with the school environment and daily routines. Depending on the position and circumstances, online interviews may also be arranged when appropriate.

Yes, English proficiency is absolutely required.
All communication within the school is conducted in English. Applicants who are unable to communicate effectively in English will not be considered for employment, regardless of previous experience.
Even if you have no prior experience in child education, you may still be considered if you have strong English skills.
However, if you lack English proficiency, you will not be eligible for the selection process, even if you have experience in child education.
We welcome native speakers, but we also believe it is important for children to be exposed to various English accents.
Therefore, we encourage applicants from non-English-speaking countries as well.
However, a high level of English proficiency is required to ensure effective communication with children, teachers, and assistants within the school.
Japanese language skills are not specifically required for teachers and assistants, but they are welcomed as they can facilitate smooth communication with parents and the operating company. The same applies to languages other than Japanese.

No. Applicants must hold a valid residence status that permits employment in Japan before beginning work.
In accordance with Japanese immigration regulations, we are unable to employ individuals who do not yet meet the necessary requirements.
Those who hold a residence status with no work restrictions (such as Permanent Resident, Spouse of a Japanese National, Spouse of a Permanent Resident, or Long-Term Resident) are eligible to work without any issues.
If you have a residence status with work restrictions, your employment at CASA ATLAS will be limited to those restrictions.
After you begin working at Bambini, we can provide support for changing your residence status if necessary.
It is not entirely impossible, but to ensure fairness in treating all students, we prefer that you avoid enrolling your own child.
If you have concerns about childcare or pick-up and drop-off arrangements while working, please feel free to discuss them with us.
