Common Questions from Families

Is there an entrance exam?
No. CASA ATLAS Montessori School does not require an entrance examination.
Is it possible to enroll in the middle of a term?
Yes. Children may join during a session if space is available in the class.
Why are there students of different ages in a class?
Mixed age classrooms encourage children to learn from one another. Younger children benefit from observing older peers, while older children develop confidence, responsibility, and leadership through supporting others.
Why do children work individually?

We believe that each child develops at an individual pace. Children are encouraged to choose activities that match their interests and stage of development while working in a calm environment that supports concentration.

Some activities are completed individually, while others encourage collaboration and group participation.

Why do you use “real” materials?
Montessori classrooms use real materials to provide meaningful experiences and develop responsibility. Through daily activities, children become more aware of their actions and learn self control, independence, and respect for their environment.
How do Montessori children handle the transition to a more traditional school?
Montessori education helps children develop independence, self discipline, and social skills. These qualities support a smooth transition to elementary school and other learning environments.
How do children learn to use Montessori materials?
All teachers at CASA ATLAS Montessori School are Montessori trained and certified. Through careful observation and guidance, teachers introduce activities and materials that are appropriate for each child’s stage of development.
Do you offer Japanese language lessons?
Regular classes are conducted in English. Families interested in Japanese language support are welcome to explore our After School programs.
Does the school have a playground? Do you take the children to the park?
Although we do not have a playground on campus, children regularly enjoy outdoor activities and visits to nearby parks when weather conditions permit.
Do you provide school lunches?

Yes. We offer a lunch catering service through Kids Deli, providing nutritious and child friendly meals prepared with a variety of ingredients, including meat, vegetables, and fish.

Menus are carefully planned by a nutritionist and designed with children’s health and safety in mind. Meals do not contain eggs, nuts, or other ingredients that may pose a risk to children with severe allergies.

Is there parking available near the school?
There is no designated school parking. However, several public parking facilities are available near the school.
